askllawli asked: Hello, Light-kun. It's been a while, yes? How have you been? I've been quite entertained by toying with matsuda, playing small tricks on him. It's quite handy he can no longer see me, especially when I put food coloring in his shampoo. The world beyond is much more entertaining than I first had believed it to be.

L… I do envy the freedom of movement your state of existence, whichever that may be, provides you with, however I had never though you would enjoy investing time into such ephemeral actions. Thus, I apologize, but I must doubt your identity as being the one of the L I know.

Anonymous asked: Hello Light. I heard that there was a shortage of Banana Powder and that you were trying to compensate the lack of it by replacing it with Cacao Butter. Is this true? I heard it all from Matsuda.

It should be clear by now that no matter how incredibly plausible a piece of information may seem, I wouldn’t advise you to believe everything you hear from Matsuda.

apertureratt asked: If you knew you were hurting someone but there was nothing you could do about it, what would you do?

It all depends. If whatever I was doing that was hurting the person in question was something that I had to do, then I would just do what I can to soften the blow, like any other person. But if I really cared about that person, and what I was doing was not necessary to me, than I would find a way to stop hurting them or explain everything to that person, for their sake.

I hope that answered your question. The question felt a bit vague, but I gave it my best, as always.

justofeelalive asked: Do you think, in the end, Near used the Death Note to write down Mikami's name and force him to not check if the Death Note was real? (Matsuda's theory) Or do you think Mikami is completely at fault for the end of Kira?

Mikami played a hand in the end of Kira, definitely, but as for Matsuda’s theory, I can’t say with absolute certainty whether or not it’s true. I wouldn’t put it past Near to do such a thing, but I won’t know if he did in fact do the deed until he dies, and ends up in either heaven, hell, or Mu.

Anonymous asked: Thoughts on Matsuda?

Matsuda’s naive and easily tricked, but I suppose he can be friendly and helpful in his own way. I don’t know what my sister sees in him though…I thought she’d go for someone a bit more, well…intelligent.
